We are now in the home stretch.

Greetings West Side Democrats!  I hope this finds you well and safe.

What on earth did I watch on Tuesday?  For the most part, both Pence and Harris got high marks for their performances, but it appears that most polls suggest that Harris won the debate.  But really, I think this misses the point:  Pence looked “okay” only by contrasting his style with is boss.  While, like Trump, he was certainly rude (“I’m speaking…”), he did not look nearly as bad as Trump.  Not sure why that is not a very critical indictment of the current occupant of the White House.

It seems like we are always wondering where the new low will be.  But now you can do something about it.

We are in the home stretch.  Now is the time that most of us have been anticipating these past four years.  Plan your vote; then vote according to your plan.  Next, make sure you help others get to the polls.  This year, we cannot take anything (or any vote) for granted.

Finally, if you are not currently helping a candidate, please consider volunteering with the Coordinated Campaign.

Sometimes politics gets tiring.  I get it.  But now is the time to finish this out.  We can wake up to a much better place on November 4th, if we all give a bit more now.

Onward Westsiders!
