“What will it look like when you’re done?” A young reporter asked that question regarding work being done to transform our democracy into a more inclusive and responsive system. My answer to that question was that we do not know what it will look like because we need to include more people in its design. We, the people, need to represent. Your voice and your vote, and your neighbors’ voices and votes are needed to remake our democracy.

On Saturday, March 3, 201 8, you are cordially invited to a Ward and Precinct Meet & Greet for people interested in strengthening Albuquerque’s west side. The change we want to see nationally begins here, at the precinct level in our own neighborhoods. If we are going to be a political force for good, we must begin here and now increasing the number of active Democrats so that we have a strong Democratic turnout in the mid-term elections. There are many jobs to fill, both big and small, and we need the help of caring Democrats to organize and mobilize the west side.

Please join us!

In solidarity,

Flora Lucero
