Dorothy Wilkinson has been a member of West Side Dems since 2016. She is a retired teacher from Gallup. For many years she called members to remind them of meetings. However in 2022 she stepped up, along with Cheryl Harris, to form an ad hoc committee of both Westside Dem members and Ward and Precinct chairs to campaign for Candidates for The New Mexico House of Representatives from the West Side. Sue Wolinsky is Secretary of WSD. She has been a member of West Side Dems since 2016. She is an activist who have been involved in many political campaigns. Currently she has a group of Democrats who send post cards to re-elect Representative Gabe Vasquez in New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District. She is on her second term as secretary.

I have taken on the treasurer role as an interim position. Having been the treasurer for several past years, I can see how the WSDs have increased their membership, outreach, and commitment, thanks to dedicated volunteers. The WSDs need a treasurer to serve on a more long-term basis, per the bylaws. I can work with someone to establish procedures that continue supporting the important work we do to keep the West Side blue.
