Janelle Astorga is a young Chicana born and raised in Albuquerque, NM in the historic barrios of San Jose and South Broadway. She is a product of APS and has been a leader for educational equity and youth voice/ youth rights since she was thirteen years of age. She now lives in the Alamosa Community.
